A week in the Tuscan countryside built around the region's most celebrated wines. From the noble cellars of Montepulciano to the legendary Brunello estates of Montalcino, this journey places wine at the centre of every day - complemented by the extraordinary food, landscapes, and hospitality that make Tuscany unforgettable.
Based at a dream villa near Foiano della Chiana, we move at a relaxed rhythm with private transfers, curated tastings at prestigious wineries, and hands-on moments in the kitchen with Anna and Michael.
Beyond the wines, you'll experience the full flavour of Tuscany - olive oil tastings at local producers, cheese and cured meats tastings featuring regional specialties, and guided sightseeing through charming medieval towns that have barely changed in centuries.
Expect exclusive winery visits for Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino, golden-hour aperitivi among the vines, and leisurely meals where every course is paired with the wines that made Tuscany famous.

Day 1 - Monday, June 7
Arrival in Rome and Welcome at the Villa
Arrive in Rome and meet your FTD team for a seamless start. Private transfer into Tuscany. Settle into our dream villa in the countryside and unwind by the pool or explore the property. In the evening, we gather for a relaxed welcome dinner at the villa with Anna and Michael.
Day 2 - Tuesday, June 8
Nobile di Montepulciano - Exclusive Winery Experiences
A full day dedicated to the wines and charm of Montepulciano. Guided time to explore the historic centre and its stunning viewpoints. Exclusive winery visits featuring Nobile di Montepulciano tastings, including a leisurely winery lunch paired with the region's finest wines. Along the way, enjoy olive oil tastings at a local Tuscan producer and cheese and cured meats tastings showcasing the best of the area's artisan traditions. Return to the villa for downtime before dinner.
Day 3 - Wednesday, June 9
Cooking with Anna & Michael at the Villa
A slower morning at the villa. Later, a hands-on cooking experience with Anna and Michael using fresh, seasonal Tuscan ingredients - the kind of relaxed, immersive session where you learn techniques you'll actually take home. Enjoy the fruits of your labour together over a long lunch. In the evening, we visit a nearby medieval town for a special dinner, soaking in the atmosphere of Tuscany's timeless hilltop villages.
Day 4 - Thursday, June 10
Siena - Medieval Beauty and a Villa Evening
A full day dedicated to Siena. Guided highlights in the historic centre, time to explore at your own pace, and a curated lunch stop. Return to the villa in the afternoon for rest. In the evening, Anna and Michael prepare a curated family-style meal at the villa for all guests - a warm, intimate dinner to close the day.
Day 5 - Friday, June 11
Brunello di Montalcino - Exclusive Winery Experiences
Travel into the heart of Montalcino for an immersive day in Brunello country. Exclusive winery visits with tastings of world-renowned Brunello di Montalcino wines. Between visits, explore the medieval town of Montalcino with its fortress and panoramic views over the Val d'Orcia. The day culminates with a winery dinner where the food is designed to match the wines, surrounded by vineyards.
Day 6 - Saturday, June 12
Orvieto, Medieval Sightseeing and a Second Cooking Experience
Cross into nearby Umbria for a day blending culture, scenery, and flavour. Visit the stunning medieval town of Orvieto, enjoy time to explore its cathedral and underground passages, and include a winery experience. Back at the villa, join Anna and Michael for a second hands-on cooking session - building on what you learned earlier in the week with new dishes and local ingredients. Dinner together at the villa featuring your creations.
Day 7 - Sunday, June 13
Florence Arrival, Free Time and Final Dinner
Depart the countryside and head to Florence. Check-in (rooms available by 3:00 PM). Afternoon free time for galleries, boutiques, aperitivo, or simply wandering. In the evening, we come together for a special final dinner in Florence.
Day 8 - Monday, June 14
Departure Day
After breakfast, it's time to say arrivederci. Hotel checkout, departure support, and transfers as needed.
