An incredible culinary adventure off the beaten path in the South of Italy. Guests explored the Aeolian Islands along with stops in Sicily and Calabria with Chefs Anna & Michael Olson.

This fully bespoke trip was packed with unique excursions, food explorations, cooking experiences and fantastic meals — from 'Nduja tastings in Calabria to private boat rides around volcanic islands.

10 days of intimate group travel across three stunning regions, with behind-the-scenes access to local producers, cheese makers, and winemakers.

Itinerary Highlights

Day 1

Welcome to Calabria

Arrival at Reggio Calabria, meet and greet at the hotel. Welcome dinner at a seaside restaurant.

Day 2

Calabrian Coast of Gods

Visit to 'Nduja producer in Spilinga, stroll through Tropea, guided tasting of Tartufo gelato in Pizzo.

Day 3

The Aeolian Islands

Hydrofoil transfer to Lipari. Guided walk through Lipari town centre. Multicourse welcome dinner.

Day 4

Vulcano & Cheeses

Visit local cheese producer on Vulcano island. Hands-on cooking experience with Anna & Michael back on Lipari.

Day 5

Private Boat Day

Private boat ride across the islands — underwater craters, Panarea, Stromboli. Evening eruption viewing from the sea.

Day 6

R&R & Wine Tasting

Relaxation by the hotel pool. Evening wine tasting at a hillside winery on Lipari.

Day 7

Ancient Grains & Cooking

Visit Le Macine pasta producer and ancient grain discovery. Second cooking experience with Anna & Michael.

Day 8

Departure to Sicily

Hydrofoil to Sicily, drive along the northern coast to Palermo with a stop in Santo Stefano for ceramics.

Day 9

Palermo

Walking tour through Palermo's landmarks, market food sampling, traditional granita with brioches.

Day 10

Arrivederci

Final breakfast and departure. Private transfers available to Palermo airport.
