Itinerary Highlights

Day 1

Welcome to Sicily

Arrival at Palermo airport, private transfer to hotel. Meet and greet. Welcome dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2

Palermo: Food & History

Full day tour of Palermo. Street food tasting at Mercato della Vucciria. Cannolo Siciliano at Pasticceria Costata.

Day 3

The Rural Countryside

Transfer towards Agrigento through Sicily's rural landscape with stops to savour local offerings.

Day 4

Valle dei Templi

UNESCO World Heritage Valley of the Temples — one of the finest examples of Greek architecture outside Greece.

Day 5

Journey Across the Island

Cooking with local products at an agritourism. Transfer to Taormina through the heart of Sicily.

Day 6

Taormina

R&R morning. Afternoon wine tasting on the hillside of Mount Etna with dinner to follow.

Day 7

Etna & Farewell

Optional Mount Etna volcano expedition — hike to the top crater. Farewell dinner with the group.

Day 8

Departure from Sicily

Final breakfast and group transfer to Catania airport.
